Paratus Training is honored to be one of the few approved vendors to provide the SB County Sheriff’s Office and Santa Barbara City 16hr CCW Certification and 8hr CCW Renewal Certification.

We have been serving our community and striving to continuously develop and improve our course material since 2013.

We offer a unique approach to the certification process that prioritizes range time and weapon handling. We have a high round count that ensures quality repetition of the necessary trained responses that must be performed under pressure.

We are the only approved vendor offering this exclusively as a private, one on one CCCW training experience should you prefer that.

We also offer a private group training should you have others interested in getting certified.

Due to increased demand, we also offer a 4-8 group course option one weekend each month a private range for your convenience.

Be advised that you should first get approval from the Sheriff’s Department/local police department by submitting your initial application and doing a LiveScan(background check) before scheduling your training in case you are denied a license. However, you can streamline the process by acquiring your training certificate if you feel confident that you will not be denied.
